Lust Have It, August 2014 Review

Finally got my Lust Have It Birthday Box aaaaaaand I LOVE IT! I was actually going to unsubscribe last month but I’m so glad I help on to it for another moth!

Last months’ LHI box was a huuuuuge let down for me. Many of the items were pointless, cheap and down right nasty. So receiving 4 Full Size products this month was a great turn around.

This month, I received:

Eleven Australia’s Miracle Hair Treatment (Full Size) RRP: $24.95, Essenzza Fuss Free Naturals Facial Cleansing Wipes (Full Size + Sample) RRP: $6.95, BioElixia BodyShaper Stretch Mark Diminishing Cream (Full Size) RRP: $39, Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro-Line (Full Size) RRP: $28.95 and Bioderma Ceraline Pro (Sample Size) RRP: $29.99.

Overall Value: $104.75 (woohoo!)

When I saw that this was a part of the box this month, I was a little disappointed. I don’t like using “unknown” products in my hair because it’s short and very fine. But, it promises to prevent split ends and control frizz – two things that concern me most! To relieve split ends, I usually use VO5 hot oil once a week and it works wonders!

I find it so hard to find makeup wipes that don’t sting my face/cause my face to break out into small red bumps. I like the idea of one side being textured to wipe dirt/makeup off your face and then the other side to finish cleansing. At the moment, my favourite makeup wipes are the Neutrogena ones. But, they are cray greasyyyy. These ones promise not to be greasy but not to be dry either. Looking forward to it!

Yaaaassssssssssssss!
I’m really excited to try this. One of the woes of being brown is the unnecessary amount of stretch marks that appear behind your knee. If this works, I will drop everything and lather myself from head to toe in this.

Marsk Eyeshadow Brush Pro-Line (Full Size) RRP: $28.95

Kind of disappointed with this one. I already have a few eyeshadow brushes that I am content with. I always feel that makeup tools are sometimes overpriced and in subscription boxes, they simply boost up the overall value. Marsk is a brand I’m overall unfamiliar with. I have one of their eyeshadows which was good but had no wow-factor. Hope the brush is different!

Bioderma Ceraline Pro (Sample Size) RRP: $29.99

I am really digging this micellaire cleansing solution phase all makeup removal companies are going through. I’ll be posting up a review of the Garnier version very soon! But as for Bioderma, I have heard good things so I am looking forward to trying it out!

Overall, I am happy with this box! My only let down is that everyone got the same – so there was no surprise element. I know this is slightly unfair of me to say since I always complain about the inequality of the boxes between different people, but I wish there was a way to work it out!

Hope the next box is as great as this one!

  1. AHHH I don’t know about the stretch mark cream but if it’s as good as their cellulite cream it’s going to work wonders 😀
