The Balm Mary Lou Manizer

HOW HAD I NEVER HEARD OF THIS BEFORE!? I mean I knew of The Balm but mainly their eyeshadows and cheek and lip colours. But, my goodness, this “illuminiser’ is the best this ever. It really makes you glow AND IT’S PERFECT FOR ALL MY FELLOW BROWN FRIENDS! I have tried many hilighters in my time (way to make myself sound like a grandma?!?) and they always end up looking too chalky – because they are too light, or too glittery. But I think this has the perfect balance.

It’s more gold toned and I think that is really helpful for darker skin tone – adds warmth. There are little bits of glittery goodness packed into it but it isn’t as overpowering as ones I have used previously.

As you can see, it adds a natural glow in natural light!
To top this off, I bought it for 30% off! Yassss! You can purchase The Balm products at David Jones (in Aus).

I bought a Becca shimmering cream from Sephora and will be comparing the two over the next month or so 🙂

Tarte Tarteist Amazonian Clay Liner

Ever since I started using this eyeliner, I have been receiving so many compliments! Though it takes time, practice and a steady hand to apply, the formula is so smooth and creamy it makes clean lines easy. The gel liner tube comes with a brush for application as well. Usually I am forced to buy another brush as the brush that comes with eyeliners are usually rubbish. But this brush got the job done! The formula is perfect for getting that inner corner right!

Unfortunately, I have been unable to find this product anywhere in Aus (not even in Sephora Sydney!) as I bought it from Sephora in America!

Korres Lipstick

Welcomed Autumn with this beautiful colour! It’s by Korres called “Dark Purple” but its more burgundy/maroon with glitter 😀  It has become my non-liquid substitute to Heathers by Anastasia Beverly Hills! I received this product as freebie with my purchase on Strawberry.Net. The best things in life are free? BUT it’s RRP$26.50 if you’d want to give it a go!

Estēe Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye

This has become my every night eye cream and I love it! I put it on before i go to sleep/after I have my shower and I wake up with soft, smooth eye skin. (Eye skin!?!?) Its a thick ointment but it doesn’t leave the lids oily the next morning. The soft skin makes it so much easier to apply eyeshadow and eyeliner over the top.50mL for $140 (but I have been using this every day for a month and have used less than 2mLs!)

Bio Oil

Okay so I know this has been around for some time now, but I never fully believed the fact that that it can rid stretch marks and any impurities. But now I use Bio Oil as a face oil every night (with the Estēe Lauder eye cream). It reduced the size of my pimple in 2 nights and is now reducing the size of scarring! It’s great! Starting with 60mL
RRP$14.99 from Priceline!

and ….Candy Crush Soda Saga (dont h8 its addictive!)
