What’s brown, smelly and from Australia?
Nope, not me – Frank Body!

What is it?
Frank Body is a brand of coffee-based scrubs that claim to target cellulite, stretch marks, psoriasis, varicose veins, eczema and acne, moisturise and tone your skin whilst hydrating and smoothing at the same time.

These are a LOT of claims for one small paper bag worth around $15.

How does it work?
The coffee and oils work together to soak into your skin and work “from the inside, out”.

What do you have to do?
You have to apply the scrub with wet skin, so I stepped in the shower for a couple of seconds. Then, I took a huge handful (the bag says 2 small handfuls but I was feeling lazy) and worked it into my skin in circular motions, focusing on areas that needed “improvement”. I suggest you do this in the shower because it gets REALLY messy. And it’s coffee. So be careful of staining.
Then comes the hard part. You have to wait for 5-10 minute with the scrub on. I thought this was going to be the hardest part as I am incredibly impatient but I just brought in a magazine and stood there for the 10 minutes.
I always see posts on instagram of people with the scrub on their face out on the beach or lazing around a pool or someplace nice. But me? I stayed in my bathroom, reading about Kim Kardashian and her Klan and fruits that make you poop better.

How does it feel?
I really cant describe how it felt on my skin, but I was worried that it was going to fall off onto the floor. Also, it didn’t help that I forgot to turn the heater on beforehand, so I was quite cold.

The aftermath:
The scrub does leave a greasy feel to your skin and they say to was it off with a body wash. Also, a faint scent of coffee lingers so if you’re into coffee, then you’ll love it! I, on the other hand,  do not like coffee nor do I fancy the smell – Yes, I realise this is very odd for a university student.

To be Frank, (haha im such a comedic genius) Frank Body is just plain awesome.
