Guess what came in the mail today!
THE PARCEL!!!!
What I received: Lancome Vissionare Advanced Skin Corrector (Sample Size), OPI Nail Laquer (Full size), Revlon ColourStay Moisture Stain (Full Size), Benefit They’re Real! Mascara (Sample Size), Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner (Sample Size), L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Purse-Size Hairspray (Purse Size) and Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner (Sample Size).
How is this box different to any of the other sub boxes?
– Everyone receives the same products with variations in colours (Revlon colour stay and OPI nail polish) and most of the products are from high-end brands!
– Also, the boxes arrive seasonally as opposed to monthly.
– You don’t have to review any products to get points.
How much does it cost?
It’s $25 per box (per season) or $90 for the year (all 4 boxes) or $149 for all 4 boxes as well as 1 year subscription to Marie Claire.
I opted for the $90 for all 4 boxes option as I wanted them alllllll but I don’t read magazines.

What did I get?
Lancome Vissionare Advanced Skin Corrector (Sample Size) – RRP $97.00
I love that The Parcel has high-end samples. I wouldn’t want to splash out $100 for something I wouldn’t actually use and a 7ml sample (valued at about $8) will give me a better idea! I’ve heard a lot about this product but I’ve been too lazy/cheap to source it our myself.
Gwen Stefani ‘In True Stefani Fashion’ OPI Nail Laquer (Full size) – RRP $19.95
I LOVE GLITTER POLISHES! So this was a perfect nail polish for me! It has little flecks of holograpahic glitter pieces and can be built up to be more opaque. Still as much of a bitch to take of as any other glitter polish though D:
Revlon ColourStay Moisture Stain in Miami Fever (Full Size) – RRP $25.95
I actually purchased 3 of these from Priceline beforehand and spent a month praying that I wouldn’t get the same colours, and I didn’t! (Yay) I did try this colour in store on my hand and decided it was too bright and too orange to complement my skin tone so I was so bummed to see this shade in my box. BUT then I tried it on my lips and it was actually quite pleasant! When applied, it looks more watermelon-y pink than orange.
I still don’t get why it’s called a “moisture stain” because it is actually glossy. It’s not sticky or unpleasant BUT it’s definitely not a “stain”. Hmmm…
Benefit They’re Real! Mascara (Sample Size) – RRP $38.00
I’ve been wanting to try this for a while so here’s a great chance!
Benefit They’re Real! Push-Up Liner (Sample Size) – RRP $35.00
Same as above!
L’Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Purse-Size Hairspray (Purse Size) RRP $9.95
Not a fan of hairspray. At all. I hate the way it makes my hair feel and every time I try and use it to add volume, it just flattens it out! I will give this a go because it promises to blend in and disappear when you brush it.
Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner (Sample Size)
Eh, shampoo. Conditioner. Not a fan of Pantene but good size for holidays and trips.
My overall opinion:
The box costs $25 (or $22.50 when you buy the annual package). The Revlon ColourStay Moisture Stain alone is above this price so yes, I think it’s worth it. I’ve heard people complain that they could pick up these samples – i.e the Benefit They’re Real! products – from a counter or online for free. But even without these samples, the price of the lipstick and nail polish alone go way above the price!
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SUMMER BOXXXXXX!!!!!
