BellaBox, October “Birthday Box” 2014 Review

Hi everyone. My name’s Meneka and I’m a beauty box subscription-oholic.
*Hi Meneka*

Look ok, I KNOW I complain about my beauty boxes every single month, and every single month I get told “If you don’t like it, then unsub” but I never do in fear of unsubscribing just as they come out with an amazing box. But this month really just pushed me over the end. As I post this, I am officially no longer subscribed to the rubbish that is BellaBox.

But let me show you what I got:

I got: Rimmel Apocolips, Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant, Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner, Kester Black Nail Polish and Model co. and Mor Samples.

Rimmel Apocolips in Nude (RRP $12.50)

Now I LOVE lip products and am willing try any colour but this “nude” was just ridiculous. It’s like they didn’t even read my beauty profile and saw that I hard a darker skin tone and just threw a random colour in. I know that the other colour was purple and I really wish I had received that instead 😦

Here are some swatches:

(In the sun light)

(In the shade)

Kester Black Nail Polish for BellaBox (RRP $20.00)

Can’t argue with nailpolish!

Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner (RRP $7.99)

No no no. Not again! Something I could’ve just got for free off the Pantene website. I was sad peeved when I got this in The Parcel and I’m peeved that I’m getting it again now!

Nivea Stress Protect Deodorant (RRP $6.59)

Can’t argue with free deodorant? Though I was hoping for something a little more extravagant for their birthday box.

Modelco Skincare Samples and Mor Hand Cream Sample

Second lot of ModelCo. samples this month *sigh*. Am excited for this hand cream though!

Ok so when I think about it, it was an “ok” box. It did exceed the $15 I pay a month but they aren’t things that are extravagant enough for a Birthday Box!
