So if you’ve been on my instagram, you would have seen my haul on the morning of the first day of the 40% off Priceline sale! BUT I went back for more the next day (lol whoops).

I went in only wanting to get a couple of Australis Velourlips but when i saw everything else… my heart said yes even though my wallet cried no.

In an attempt to convince myself that I did the right thing by purchasing these products, I am going to review them each individually as well as explain my reasoning behind buying them….

Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Mascara

Ok so this is one of my most favourite mascaras which I had just recently run out of! It does a decent job of both lengthening and volumising at the same time whilst most mascaras only do one of the other. I currently have around 4 opened mascaras going so I think I’ll add this to my stash of backups. // Sidenote: I like to use at least 3 different mascaras when doing my eyes to achieve my desired volume and length which is why I have many open at one time like a crazy person.

Maybelline Master Liner

A crayon liner which I use for my water line. I actually bought this for a friend but having tried it myself, it’s a good waterliner! I’m currently using Maybelline Master Kajal but honestly, they’re all the same.

Maybelline Master Precise

Liner in pen form that dries matte. This is the best for beginners. Also not for me, but I have used this before and I found it to be quite faint. It was definitely not as black as I wanted it to be but I used it as a liner to get to the lash line, then went over it with liquid liner.

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Pop
Yay more baby lips! And they’re like the American ones! (Which are so much better than the Australian ones – and yes, there is a difference).

Maybelline Cover Show Nail Polish

Because who has enough nail polish?
(Well, tbh, I really do…)

Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer

I haven’t tried this as of yet, but I have heard so many good things about it!

Yes I buy a lot of Maybelline products! They’re inexpensive yet good quality! (Except the Big Eyes double sided pencil which was horrible)

Revlon Liquid Eyeliner
So, I don’t buy many Revlon products but I was absolutely desperate for a matte liquid liner (please let me know if you know any). I usually use the Maybelline Hyper Glossy Liquid Liner brush with the Revlon Liquid Liner formula (which is matte.)
I find all other liquid liner brushes too thick to deal with 😦

OPI Nail Polish

At $6 each I couldn’t pass up restocking the base coat as well as a pretty purple!

Australis Velourlips



At sunrise (LHS) and at sundown (RHS).

My god these are amazing. They are exactly like Lime Crime Velvetines but more accessible and affordable (and with different colours). The only sad part is that most of the colours are browns and nudes which clash with a deeper skin tone like my own so i was only able to buy 3 😦
This is one main issue I have with Australis. They’re range most definitely does not cater for the “Face[s] of Australia” (see what I did there?). Their foundation ranges go up to around half my skin tone, their nudes are not nudes on me and their contour palette is a little too light.

Australis Limited Edition Eyeshadow
ERMERGERD THESE ARE SO BEAUTIFUL! So so beautifully pigmented. They are just chock full of glitter and are so creamy. They remind me of Maybeline Colour Tattoo shadows. Unfortunately I was only able to buy 2 as Priceline only had testers of the other. They blend into each other and I love using the darker shade, Plum Diddy, to make a glittery smokey eye.
(Unfortunately I was so excited that I have misplaced them. I’ll upload swatches as soon as I find them again – whoops)
