OK I KNOWWW I haven’t posted in a while, but that’s a story for another day because I am ready to get right into my new post: SOME MAKEUP AND SKINCARE THAT HAVE BEEN FAR ABOVE SUB PAR OVER THE PAST FEW MONTHS.
I don’t know if it’s just me, but I just can’t churn through products fast enough to have monthly favourites/have enough items to constitute a blog post, so I’m just going to write them as a mental list forms that’s so long that I have to write it down.
Some of the products I’m going to be talking about were kindly gifted to me (they’ll have a *) but as always, I’m not obliged to talk about them, I just love ’em so darn muchly.
BYS has been KILLIN IT lately with their new releases and ranges being always on trend and at an amazingly affordable price. Their eyeshadow palettes have been immensely popular and seen as dupes for popular palettes, such as the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette, Urban Decay Naked Palette etc
Now this one here is the BYS Think Pink palette and is an 8 shadow palette in a plastic case, not 16 and in a tin like the ones you’ve probably seen. Aaaaaaaaaaaand its RRP is only $6.95 – madness!
Mother’s Day is in just under a week! Have you got a gift yet? No? Well this gift guide is for you!
Since Anastasia Bev Hills and Norvina intend on making me bankrupt with their releases of Glow Kits, I thought I’d make this review about the OG kits – That Glow and Gleam for a point of reference.
Before you read this post, make sure you have a watch of my first impressions and play around video for context: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYGQPDCxPuk&t=925s
Now that I’ve had this palette for a week with ample time to play, mix and understand what’s going on, it’s time for a more in-depth review and swatches! Continue reading
Wowweeee was 2016 a year of makeup! New releases every couple of weeks, collaborations left, right and centre and new brands popping up non-stop.
I’ve brought together a list of my top picks from 2016!
This is a follow-up to my review of the Bronze Kyshadow! Make sure you check it out here!
Kylie Jenner. I feel like everyone either loves her or loathes her. But her controversial life aside, it’s actually quite impressive to own such a makeup empire and personal brand.
This review is all about the Bronze palette! My review of the Burgundy palette is coming up soon so stay tuned!
A while back (around mid-year), Mecca Maxima started stocking the Urban Decay Vice lipstick and liner range. It features 100 colours in a range of finishes and are $28 each – a great price for top notch lipsticks. Now, for Christmas, Urban Decay have come out with lipstick palettes featuring 12 shades of the Vice range. Urban Decay released 2 – Blackmail (available from Mecca and the one I have today) and Junkie (available from Sephora US).
Guess what I haaaaaave?! The NEW (to Australia) NYX Strobe of Genius (like stroke of genius – ha ha) illuminating palette! I posted a photo on Instagram and some swatches on Snapchat and you guys were super intrigued so here is a review with swatches and the works.
