Ottoman3 Brow Threading Service and Product Review

When I was younger, I would never have guessed that eyebrows would become such an important part of my life. I never knew they needed to be “on point” or “fleeking”. I just knew I had to have 2 of them!

My usual routine is to get them threaded and then keep them clean by tweezing any stray hairs. I never pluck from the top because I’m afraid of over-plucking so I need a threading ever month or so.

Embarrassingly enough, my eyes tear up when I get my threading done. When my right eyebrow is getting done, my right eye leaks. I don’t know why and no I am not crying!!

The Best Of 2015

2015 has definitely been the year in which I REALLY got into makeup and beauty. I went from learning how to use orange skin correcter to recolour my pigmentation to being able to know exactly what product you were talking about when you mentioned just a little bit about it. Makeup has gone from a hobby to a full fledged addiction!

Here’s what I discovered this year!

Real U Australia Skin Care range

You know what I’m talking about. It’s all over instagram!  Skin care WITH OUT “benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid“. But what does that even mean? What has benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid ever done to me for me to banish them from my life?

Shop and Box Haul: Anastasia Beverly Hills, Sephora, Ulta….

So I promised I’d share the details of my Shop and Box haul with you and here it is!

What is Shop and Box?

I don’t want to say it’s a forwarding service because it’s a lot more personalised than that. Basically you tell them what you want, pay for it, and you get it. Shop and Box collects a commission on top of the prices of the items and shipping which varies.

Manicure: Orchid Day Spa via Vaniday

I got ma nails diiidddd! I love getting manicures and pedicures and everything in between. I mean who doesn’t?

People usually get their nails done when they’re on the go and look for the most convenient locations, which they THINK are only in shopping centres. Having to sit in the stench of acetone and wait whilst the nail technicians finish off somebody else’s toes before moving onto you. Shopping trolleys awkwardly in the way. Nope, not relaxing at all.

I recently went to Orchid Day Spa located in the Melbourne CBD and it. Was. Great. I’m guilty of the above. I’ll admit it. But now that I’ve experienced what a relaxing manicure is meant to be like – I am never going back.

Monthly Round Up: September Favourites!

So what have I been liking lately?

  MAC Fix+

Okay so I know I have only had these for a week but these are great. I have horrendously dry skin and my foundation can look dry and stick to the patches on my face. A spritz of this before foundation or primer softens and nourishes my skin and a spray after my foundation leaves my face feeling and looking moist. [stay tuned for a full review and uses blog post coming up]

Anastasia Beverly Hills: Cream Contour Kit Review

Okay so I know we’ve all moved on to strobing, but for those of you who are still trying to get into the hang of contouring (myself included) – here’s a review on the ABH Cream Contour Kit.

Diet vs Desk II

Ok so I know it seems like forever since my first post of this series but after posting it, I felt seriously demotivated. I don’t know what I thought would happen – that I would suddenly drop 10 kgs in a week? I think it’s because I keep seeing stories of “woman looses 3 kgs in first week after she stopped drinking coke” around and believed it…

Anyway, it’s been a few weeks now and I have made a few changes in my life!
