So recently, I’ve been trying to revert back to natural products or products with simple ingredients. The product I’ve been using the most is COCONUT OIL! I know there’s been a lot of hype around coconut oil recently, so I’ve created a list of uses – and there are A LOT!

So, as you may have noticed, the number of subscription box services have multiplied like crazy over the past couple of years. They have a box for EVERYTHING! But of course, I like me some beauty boxes.

As you’ve probably heard me complain about by now, I have ridiculously dry skin. So, so dry that if I don’t moisturise, my face feels like it’s about to crack. 2015 has definitely been the year in which I REALLY got into makeup and beauty. I went from learning how to use orange skin correcter to recolour my pigmentation to being able to know exactly what product you were talking about when you mentioned just a little bit about it. Makeup has gone from a hobby to a full fledged addiction!

What is Shop and Box?
I don’t want to say it’s a forwarding service because it’s a lot more personalised than that. Basically you tell them what you want, pay for it, and you get it. Shop and Box collects a commission on top of the prices of the items and shipping which varies.
So what have I been liking lately?
MAC Fix+
Okay so I know I have only had these for a week but these are great. I have horrendously dry skin and my foundation can look dry and stick to the patches on my face. A spritz of this before foundation or primer softens and nourishes my skin and a spray after my foundation leaves my face feeling and looking moist. Okay so I know we’ve all moved on to strobing, but for those of you who are still trying to get into the hang of contouring (myself included) – here’s a review on the ABH Cream Contour Kit.
So, you’ve probably seen this mascara pop up on my instagram every second post because well, I LOVE IT!
I’ve had a little bit over 3 months of use of this mascara and I think it’s time to write a review.
How much is it and where can i buy it from?
I purchased mine form Mecca for $27. Whilst $27 is above my usual spend for mascaras which is usually $10 (when Maybelline goes on sale), I thought I may as well give this one a go seeing as though it promised to “adds volume and length to your lashes whilst nourishing and conditioning them”.
Why did I buy it?
I have the problem of picking off mascara and as a result, my lashes have become stubby and theres less of them. I wanted to try a nourishing mascara as mascara is an everyday must-wear for me.
I never thought I’d see the day I wrote a positive review about an eye shadow palette full of neon colours! The Urban Decay Electric palette had been on my want list for months before I received it in a swap and well, let’s just say I’ve been wearing colour a lot more since! Continue reading
So, today I went to pick up my Beauty Loop box whilst I’m on holiday in Sydney! I didn’t want to wait until I got back in fear of missing out or being later than the cutoff date (i feel like i’ve read somewhere that they stop giving them out after Aug 5th but that may just be me). This is my first ever Beauty Loop box (“omg whut but you’re always at Mecca!” IKR!) and I’m only a Level 1 (“but but you buy so much makeup how are you only level 1!”). I buy most of my makeup online and only go in store for complexion products like foundation and concealer which are rare purchases.
